Who We Are Sport-Start Kör SE is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of sports, physical education, and social development. Established in March 2024 and based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, our association was founded with a long-term vision: to integrate sports, physical activity, education, healthcare promotion, and social inclusion into a cohesive framework that generates sustainable value for children, youth, adults, and people with disabilities. Our motto, „Together for Each Other,” reflects our core conviction that sports possess the unique power to build resilient communities, promote equal opportunities, and enhance the overall quality of life. Although we are a dynamic and young organization, our multidisciplinary team comprises professionals with extensive expertise in sports management, education, adaptive physical activity, and community development. Key Areas of Activity
  • Physical Activity and Child Development
A cornerstone of our mission is the promotion of physical literacy and motor skills development among children. We currently operate regular movement development programmes across four kindergartens and two primary schools. In these institutions, our specialized trainers focus on improving motor skills, coordination, healthy lifestyle habits, and self-confidence through engaging physical activities. Alongside these structured initiatives, we actively support grassroots sports and advocate for lifelong participation in physical activity.
  • The Judo Department
Judo forms the professional and competitive foundation of our association. Led by highly qualified coaching staff, our judo programme welcomes participants from preschool age through to adulthood. Beyond technical excellence, our coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, mutual respect, self-confidence, perseverance, and holistic personal development. Inclusive Sports and Social Responsibility Inclusion is a defining value of Sport-Start Kör SE. We are deeply committed to ensuring that people with disabilities are granted equal opportunities to participate in sports, education, and community life.
  • Disability Sports: Our association operates its own Goalball team, which actively competes in the Hungarian National Championship. Additionally, we provide opportunities for individuals to experience and practice various other parasports. Beyond competitive sports, we organize inclusive sports events that bring together athletes with and without disabilities, thereby fostering mutual understanding and social integration.
  • Awareness and Sensitisation Programmes: On a monthly basis, we deliver interactive awareness-raising sessions in kindergartens and schools, actively involving experts by experience. These initiatives help children develop empathy, acceptance, and understanding toward people with disabilities, cultivating inclusive communities from an early age.
  • Institutional Partnerships: We maintain close cooperation with educational, social, and rehabilitation institutions. Our professionals regularly deliver tailored movement development and sports programmes for children with special educational needs (SEN) as well as for adults residing in supported living facilities.
Education and Professional Development Education serves as a strategic pillar for our organization. As an accredited adult education provider, Sport-Start Kör SE has developed specialized professional training programmes for educators, focusing on prevention, mental well-being, and inclusive educational practices. Furthermore, we collaborate closely with higher education institutions (such as Óbudai University) and vocational schools (including the Bugát Pál Technikum – High School- and Arany János EGYMI – special elementary school-) within the framework of dual education partnerships, contributing directly to the practical training of future professionals in the fields of sports and education. Community and Accessibility Projects Our scope of activity extends beyond traditional sports programming. In partnership with various cultural institutions, we actively support accessibility initiatives, including the provision of audio description services to make theatre performances accessible to visually impaired audiences. Furthermore, in cooperation with veterinary partners, we support guide dog programmes by facilitating free veterinary care. These initiatives reflect our broader commitment to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities beyond the sporting arena. International Cooperation and Strategic Vision International collaboration is one of our highest strategic priorities. We are actively seeking long-term partnerships within the framework of Erasmus+ Sport and other European programmes, focusing on the following thematic areas:
  • Promotion of physical activity and grassroots sports
  • Physical literacy and early childhood development
  • Inclusive sports and adaptive physical activity (APA)
  • Coach, youth worker, and teacher education
